I first visited Africa in 2019, where I had this strange feeling that I was home. I felt grounded and happy in this new environment which was very different from my homeland, Canada. I didn’t want to leave. Everything seemed to suddenly make sense.
Terra Ferma and Untamed capture unexpected landscapes that convey the natural beauty found in worldly isolation. this series is inspired by the peace and oneness found in nature. Challenged by harsh environments and poachers, many of these exotic animals that bring so much awe to those who encounter them also face tragic endangerment or extinction.
